This is how it works:
1) The Daily Deal. Each day, you are sent one deeply discounted deal to use at local businesses. You just sign up to get the daily email. BUY LOCAL!
2) Click to Buy. Purchase a daily deal. This is easy. It’s a single click operation. You receive your deal the next business day.
3) Share for a Free Deal. My FAVORITE part of this! After you buy the deal you get a unique link to share with your family and friends. If three people buy the deal using your link, then your deal is free. Nice, huh? Dinner party anyone?
Unfortunately, LivingSocial does not service every city in the United States. I am sure they will get around to it though. Most major U.S. cities are already participating.
My metro area is in LivingSocial’s network. I found deals in Austin for sushi, house-cleaning, massage, and ski boat rentals. All of these items and services had discounts of 50% or more!
Some other cool things about LivingSocial: you can purchase deals and give them to your friends as gifts. They also have an affiliate program! If you have a website you can promote the site and earn extra cash.
