Frugal Tips – Keep Razors Sharp

Don’t you hate it when razors dull too quick?  You can prevent that with a little oil.  Razor blades get dull quickly because of oxidation.  Blades start oxidizing as soon as they make contact with water.  If you rinse off the razor and store it with the blade down in a small container of cooking oil it will last twice as long.  The oil will slow down the oxidation process.  Use canola oil for your disposable razors.
